The Chrysostom Project

Saint John Chrysostom (347-404), Archbishop of Constantinople, produced a plethora of commentary on Holy Scripture. His work was translated into English in 1803 by the Swiss-born, German-educated protestant theologian, Philip Schaff. With all deserved appreciation to Schaff, we believe the antiquated language of his translation is a barrier to modern readers, so we have begun a multi-volume quest to produce an accessible summarizing. The work has been very beneficial to us and, we hope, will be beneficial to others.

Initial volumes available at the Lulu book store.
